Inside

What the note covers.

Fifteen sections, written for readers who want the reasoning rather than the marketing.

The premise

Why momentum tools designed between 1978 and the early 1980s do not survive contact with this series — a single lookback is a fixed compromise, fixed thresholds are not scale-invariant, and no classical instrument carries a calendar.

The architecture

Two independent readings rather than one: a dual-horizon wave engine blended against a volatility-regime statistic, a band engine that inverts a strength measure to project levels, and the confluence layer that reconciles them.

The divergence test

The classical two-point test stated formally, three structural defects identified in it, and the path-constrained schema — anchor, midline transit, shallower return — that replaces it.
